How to Delete Your Account
For security purposes, you must request account deletion directly through the House Inspector mobile application while logged in. This ensures that only the verified account owner can authorize the permanent erasure of data.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Open the House Inspector app on your device.
- Navigate to the Account screen (via the bottom menu).
- Scroll down to the General section at the bottom of the page.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Follow the on-screen prompt to confirm.
Important Note Regarding Subscriptions
Please note that deleting your account does not automatically cancel your active subscription. Since payments are processed by Apple or Google, you must cancel your subscription in your device settings to prevent future renewal charges.
Data Retention Policy
Once confirmed, your account will be deactivated immediately. All personal data, inspection history, and generated reports will be permanently deleted from our servers within 24 hours. This action cannot be undone.
